Doncaster S-O-S

Its a case when, and not if, Sean O'Driscoll will be sacked. Two national newspapers today have reported that former Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock manager is set replace the under performing Doncaster Rovers manager.

If Rovers are to have any success this season then wins must come soon. Under O'Driscoll Rovers have won 13 out of 42 league matches, which is not good enough for a team wanting to challenge for promotion.

They say a manager's team always ends up reflecting the manager's personality, last night Rovers showed a lack of passion, leadership and fight.

When the local radio station are coming off the fence and sharing the opinion of the majoirty of the supporters, you realise its time for the manager to move on.

I hope he's gone before the weekend but I think Ryan will not get rid for quite a while yet!

seems to me that we will be dammed if we do and dammed if we dont get rid, by the time a new manager alters the way the team are playing we can say goodbye to promotion this year. mind you SOD form so far is relegation form at least a new face may keep us up.lets face it plymouth gave us a taste of the championship .. do you think promotion would be good for us with this team .. dont worry JR will do the right thing ha ha!...as for the local radio commentry on tuesday i got the feeling they were laughing at the rovers style of play .

With the way they have started the season any chance of promotion as already gone.

Its too early to say that - they are only six points away from the league leaders. A major attitude change, plus a run of wins, and who knows?

I just think they will be to inconsistent like last season. Lose to Bournemouth and then a good win at Swansea!

Unless they start winning their home games on a regular basis, they have no chance. BTW, I will predict Leeds for the playoffs....

Northampton certainly looked up for a more physical game. I came away from the ground a bit bewildered though. I don't think we played well but should have still come away with at least a point if not for their keeper.
