'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The clock is ticking

The transfer window closes for permanent deals at the end of the month, and Rovers are still in desperate need of a central midfielder.

Dave Penney only has three central midfield players in his squad. Out of the three, only has performed this season. Thornton, apart from the game against Villa, has disappointed. While Paul Green, has never got going this season. Mulligan, has played in the centre of the park this season but is likely to miss most of February on international duty with New. Young Antony Griffiths has sat on the bench for the last two matches.

Rovers missed out on Clingan who joined Forest last week.

The clock is ticking.
