Doncaster Chairman Back SOD

When questioned by Radio Sheffield, Doncaster Rovers Chairman John Ryan, said that O'Driscoll was still the right man for the job.

Whilst the travelling fans at Luton called for O'Driscolls head, the former Bournemouth manager at least has the backing of the Rovers chairman.

Not really surprised at Ryan, it would mean he would have to admit the mistake in hiring him. But if they sack SOD now, they would kiss the rest of the season goodbye anyway as the new guy would need time to build up his squad. Remember that was the reason given last season for SOD's poor performance - that he was stuck with the previous managers players. I think SOD will still be manager at the end of the season regardless.
