Return Of Matt Mills?

In his friday press conference, Sean O'Driscoll has revealed that he has been in close contact with Manchester City in regards to bringing in former loan defender Matt Mills.

The news will come as a delight to many Rovers fans after he became an immediate fans favourite at The Keepmoat Stadium earlier on in the season with a number of good performances.

Mills' loan deal was cut short when the young defender suffered a cartilage injury forcing Mills to return to Manchester.

In related news, Sean O'Driscoll spoke about the recent rumours regarding the purchase of a new striker.

'It looks as if Paul Heffernan will be back a little earlier than first expected. If we can get somebody in who is better than first expected and we were able to do it, then we'd be in the market.'

He was really playing well when he got injured. I would love to see him return full time. I think Rovers had done a deal with City to sign him in January when he originally came in on loan.
