Horlock leaves Doncaster.

35 year old Kevin Horlock joined Rovers after being released by former club Ipswich. After a successful loan spell at Doncaster where he made 13 appearances, Dave Penney took the opportunity to sign the midfielder on a permanent deal.

Since then Horlock has only made a total of 2 appearances in a Rovers shirt scoring 1 goal early in the 2006-07 season against Crewe at Belle Vue.

Horlock started at Swindon Town before moving to Manchester City where he went on to play for the club for 6 years. Kevin Horlock spent a season at London side West Ham before moving to Ipswich Town and finally his latest team Doncaster Rovers.

Kevin Horlock is expected to stay in the game however there are some doubts after rumours that earlier in his Doncaster days he was talked out of retirement by Rovers chairman John Ryan.

It was a shame he was always injured. He looked quality for us when he first came on loan.
