Doncaster bring in 2 players.

Doncaster Rovers have today announced that Hull City's Stuart Elliot will join Rovers on loan until the end of the season hoping to earn a permanent deal.

Stuart Elliot is a winger who can also play as a striker and scored 27 goals in Hulls promotion season putting him joint top scorer of League One.

This season Elliot has only made 7 appearances for Hull netting 1 time in the Carling Cup.

Rovers have also signed Tranmere Rovers striker Gareth Taylor on a loan deal.

The 33 year old who has had spells at Crewe, Crystal Palace, Burnley, Port Vale, QPR, Man City, Bristol Rovers, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United will be playing for a permanent deal come the end of the season.

Taylor has scored a total of 4 goals this season in 29 appearances.

I think they are two very good signings. Taylors experience could be vital in the promotion push over the next few months. Also Elliott has a fantastic strike record for a midfielder.

Both cracking signings who should do well for you!

Both Solid signings but watch out for Taylor's booking ratio - he throws more elbows than a cage fighter!
