Armstrong on loan

Rovers today signed ex-Middlesbrough Striker, Alun Armstrong. The striker who was at Rushden, has signed on loan until the end of the season.

Rovers tried to sign him last season, when he was playing for Darlington.

Some comments from Rushden fans about Armstrong:

'He was a complete waste of space and only used us as a meal ticket.'

'What a waste of space, an utter disgrace against stockport hope i never see him again'

'He scored a good goal against the Cobblers Reserves but sadly it was downhill from there. It is certainly better to have him off of our books.'

'He can take the tights with him'
