Rovers clinch safety

Plymouth entertained Doncaster with both clubs still looking for points to assure their survival in the Championship for next season.

Rovers brought back Paul Heffernan, Sam, Hird and John Spicer to the starting line up.

Rovers took command of the game in the first half, goals from John Spicer and James Hayter gave them a 2-0 interval lead.

Paul Heffernan clinched all three points for Rovers with twenty minutes of the game remaining.

The victory for Rovers clinches their safety in the Championship whilst Plymouth still nervously look over their shoulders.
