Doncaster Rovers enjoyed a successful trip to the capital with their first away win of the season against an in inform Crystal Palace.

It was also Rovers first ever victory at Selhurst Park having lost on their previous five visits.

Billy Sharp continued his good goalscoring form with the opener shortly before half time when he side footed in from close range.

Rovers increased the lead just past the hour when Woods right foot drive beat Speroni in the Palace goal.

The visitors were enjoying the afternoon and wrapped up the game inside the final fifteen minutes when James Hayter latched onto a through ball and beat Speroni to record an emphatic victory for Rovers.
