Doncaster Rovers grabbed a valuable point with a hard earned point in a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor against Burnley.
Rovers made one change from the side that beat Millwall on Saturday.
Mustapha Dumbuya came back into the starting eleven in place of the injured Joe Mills.
Neil Sullivan was forced into a save in the opening fifteen seconds when he kept out a Wade Elliott shot.
The home side started strongly and Dean Marney and Daniel Fox both had shots wide of the target in the opening two minutes.
Burnley felt they should have had an early penalty when Wayne Thomas appeared to handle the ball in the area but the referee waved away the appeals from the Burnley players.
Rovers took the lead on thirteen minutes when James Hayter applied the finishing touch to a David Healy effort that had come back off the bar.
Burnley had a great chance to equalise when they were awarded a penalty but Neil Sullivan produced a great save from Chris Eagles to keep the lead intact.
Sullivan`s penalty save ensured Rovers went in at half time 1-0 ahead.
Burnley made a fast start to the second half and Neil Sullivan twice saved from Chris Eagles in the early minutes.
In an open game Rovers were also creating plenty of chances and James Hayter and Brian Stock both forced Lee Grant into saves.
Burnley equalised just past the hour when Jack Cork got the final touch after a Chris Eagles corner was flicked on by Chris Iwelumo.
Despite the setback, Rovers looked for a winner and Wayne Thomas, James Coppinger and John Oster all had good chances on goal.
Wayne Thomas missed a great chance in the final minute of normal time when he headed over from a Brian Stock free kick when well placed inside the six-yard box.
A decent game and Rovers were well worth their point with Neil Sullivan rolling back the years with an excellent performance in the Rovers goal.
