Rovers earn vital point

Doncaster Rovers earned a valuable point at promotion chasing Nottingham Forest with a resolute defensive display.

Rovers kept their first clean sheet away from home since the opening day of the season to move a point closer to safety.

Forest best chance fell to Robert Earnshaw who was through on goal after a poor clearance from George Friend.
Gary Woods did well to deny the striker from close range.

Rovers best chance fell to Ryan Mason who went through the middle before firing just wide from the edge of the area.

The point moves Rovers onto 44 points and ten points above the relegation places.
