Late Late heartache for Rovers

Doncaster Rovers hearts were broken deep into stoppage time when Blackpool substitute Tom Ince clinched the three points for the seasiders.

Billy Sharp scored his first Rovers goal since the opening day to give them a deserved half time lead.

Rovers looked to be heading for all three points until Blackpool boss Ian Holloway made a trip substitution just short of the hour.

Within six minutes of the substitutions, Ince had fired Blackpool level.

Rovers come under intense pressure in the final quarter but it took a strike from 25 yards in the fourth minute of stoppage time to finally break down their resistance.

Ince scored his second of the evening and within seconds; the referee was ending the game.

The result sees Rovers drop a place to twenty-third in the championship table.
