Millwall 3 - Doncaster Rovers 2

New Den

29/11/11 7.45pm

Sharp double in vain

A double from Billy Sharp was not enough to stop them falling to another defeat, this time at Millwall.

Rovers found themselves one down half way through the first half when Liam Trotter scored from the spot.

Sharp equalised for Rovers five minutes before half time, also from the spot.

Millwall went ahead within two minutes when Trotter scored his second of the game.

Substitutes Darius Henderson made it three for Millwall inside the final ten minutes.

Sharp pulled one back for Rovers when he headed home a Kyle Bennett cross.

Bennett almost claimed a point for Rovers in the dying minutes but his effort went just wide of the post.
