Doncaster Rovers started life after Billy Sharp with a hard-earned point at Hull City.

The draw brought to an end a run of six consecutive away defeats and was Rovers first away draw of the season.

Rovers put up a resolute defensive display as they came under pressure from Hull from the off to keep their first clean sheet on the road this season.

The draw was enough to lift Rovers above Nottingham Forest into 22nd place in the championship.
