Rovers slip closer to League One return

Doncaster Rovers moved a step closer to a return to League One after a 4-0 defeat at Leicester City.

Danny Drinkwater gave Leicester a first half lead before a huge gaff by Rovers goalkeeper Carl Ikeme allowed a Lee peltier cross to go through him early in the second half to make it two.

Ben Marshall made it three with a sweet striker from the angle of the area and substitute Paul Gallagher found time and space in the area to make it four late on.

Rovers are now eight points from safety with just five games remaining.
