Rovers ending disappointing season in style

Doncaster Rovers brought down the curtain on their away fixtures in the championship with a 2-0 win at Coventry City to condemn the sky blues to League One football next season.

Rovers won the game with two goals in the final ten minutes. James Hayter converted from the spot after Richard Keogh, who was shown a straight red card, brought him down.

Simon Gillett wrapped up the points for Rovers with three minutes remaining when he was given time and space at the edge of the area to beat Joe Murphy in the Coventry goal.
