Rovers make it two from two with Bury win

Doncaster Rovers made it two wins from two after coming from behind to beat Bury 2-1 at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Joe Skarz headed Bury into a fifth minute lead, a lead that lasted thirty minutes before Kyle Bennett equalised for Rovers, his second goal in two league games.

Bury were reduced to ten men halfway through the second half when Steven Schumacher was shown a red card for a professional foul.

Rovers took advantage of the extra man and Chris Brown made it three goals in three games with the winner with just six minutes remaining.

Rovers now go into the weekends game against Crawley Town at the Keepmoat as one of only three sides who still have a 100% record in League One.

Wins breed confidence. Hope it keeps happening. Must be a while since Rovers won two in a row.

Two wins takes a bit of the pressure off. We are still woefully short of a squad though.
