Rovers bow out of Cup

Doncaster Rovers bowed out of the Capital One League Cup with a narrow 1-0 defeat at Premier League Norwich City.

Rovers boss Dean Saunders made five changes to the side that drew with Stevenage at the weekend and young youth team player Harry Middleton was named amongst the substitutes.

Norwich also made a whole host of changes to the side that lost at Newcastle on Sunday.

Alexander Tettey scored on his Norwich City debut on 26 minutes to clinch the win for the home side and put the Premier League side into the fourth round of the competition.
