Doncaster Rovers booked their place in the second round of the FA Cup with a 3-1 win over non-league Bradford Park Avenue.
Andy Griffin and Sammy Clingan both made their first starts for Rovers since signing short-term deals recently with boss Dean Saunders changing things around.
It took Rovers almost thirty minutes to break down their Blue Square Conference North opponents.
Martin Woods finally breaking the deadlock on 27 minutes at a time when Bradford were enjoying their best spell of the game.
Ten minutes later, Rovers doubled their lead when Iain Hume was found in the centre and he place his shot past Tim Deasey.
Bradford enjoyed a decent start to the second half but it was Woods again who drew a good save out of Deasey.
The visitors found their way back into the game ten minutes into the second half when midfielder Richard Marshall fired home.
The game was evenly balanced with the non-league side competing well.
Rovers eventually made the game safe when substitute Chris Brown headed home his sixth goal of the season with fifteen minutes remaining.
Rovers had chances in the final ten minutes to increase their lead but it would have been harsh on the visitors from Bradford who put up a good fighting display.
