Rovers blow chance to go up

Doncaster Rovers missed the chance to secure automatic promotion after losing at home to Notts County.

Rovers went down 1-0 to a superb strike from Joss Labadie on 14 minutes.

The home side tried in vain to get back into the game and James Coppinger, Billy Paynter and Iain Hume all had efforts cleared off the line.

The defeat leaves Rovers in second place and they now travel to Brentford on the final day needing a draw for promotion. A Brentford win would see Rovers consigned to a play-off place.
