Referee:

Doncaster Rovers slipped to a1-0 defeat in their crucial relegation six-pointer at Yeovil Town and it was a former Rovers favourite who scored the only goal of the game.

James Hayter, who will always be remembered for scoring the only goal of the game in 2008 as Rovers beat Leeds United at Wembley in the League One play-off final, scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot on the hour after James Husband had tripped Duane Holmes in the penalty area.

Rovers on loan goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, who had a short loan spell at Yeovil earlier this season, kept the scoreline down as he made great saves to deny both Kieffer Moore and Kevin Dawson.

Jordan Bowery had Rovers best chance of the game in the first half but Mark Stech kept out his effort from the edge of the box.

Mark Duffy also missed a great chance for Rovers just minutes before Yeovil took the lead.
