Rovers Continue Their March Towards Promotion
Doncaster Rovers continued their push for promotion but they had to come from behind to beat Notts County 3-1.
Richard Duffy had put Notts County ahead but goals either side of half time by James Coppinger and Mathieu Baudry put Doncaster ahead.
With the visitors chasing the game in injury time, Andy Williams slotted the ball home from distance with the Notts County goalkeeper out of his area having gone forward for a corner.
Duffy put the visitors ahead on 20 minutes when he slid the ball under Ian Lawlor after Doncaster had failed to clear a corner.
Doncaster were level two minutes before the break when Coppinger was on hand to lash the ball home after the midfielder found space in the Notts County area.
Baudry put Doncaster ahead two minutes after the restart when he powered home his header following a cross from the left by Coppinger.
Notts County thought they had levelled when Haydn Hollis forced the ball home but the referee had already blown for a free-kick to Doncaster.
The visitors were caught deep into stoppage time when goalkeeper Adam Collin went forward for a corner. Gary McSheffrey broke for Doncaster and he played in Williams, who had the simple task of passing the ball into an empty net from 30-yards.
