Rovers Beaten At Promotion Chasing Wigan
Doncaster Rovers lost for the first time in four league games as they went down to a 3-0 defeat at promotion chasers Wigan Athletic.
Doncaster held out until the final five minutes but they were then undone as they conceded twice, both with the help of huge deflections.
On 40 minutes, Michael Jacobs saw his low shot from the edge of the area turned past the Doncaster keeper by defender Joe Wright.
Then in first half injury time, Ryan Colclough saw his shot take a huge deflection, leaving Ian Lawlor in the Doncaster goal wrong footed.
Wigan made the game safe just before the hour when Colclough scored his second goal of the evening with a diving header.
